Introduction

Website www.gbris.com (GBRIS) processes and utilizes personal data as described in this document. GBRIS acts as an informational service provider by connecting global business registries and offering access to official legal entity documents submitted to the local registries.

Data collection takes place on the website when the private user or representative of a legal entity requests a document related to a specific company and enters his contact details in the checkout page.
GBRIS expects that such data is related to the legal entities only and, therefore, is not considered as personal data under the definitions of the privacy laws. However, if the data regarding the individuals (representative of the legal entity), falls under the definition of personal data, we herein describe how this data is processed.

What personal data we collect

GBRIS collects and processes data that is necessary to fulfill customer order – customer name and email address (if the order is made by a natural person) and company name, registry code, legal address, contact persons name and email address (if the order is made by a legal entity). Data will be stored in GBRIS databases. The data is collected when the Customer makes an order in GBRIS website.

Purposes for which personal data is processed

GBRIS collects personal and legal entity data in order to fulfill Customer orders made via website www.gbris.com. We do not transfer your personal data beyond the EU. The personal data is not used for profiling and personal data is not published on GBRIS website.

Legal basis and Jurisdiction

The lawful basis for the processing of personal data is the fulfilment of the order. We are governed by laws of the Republic of Estonia and any disputes with us will be settled in courts of the Republic of Estonia.

Direct marketing

GBRIS does not send e-mails for direct marketing purposes. E-mails are used to provide reminders, deliver a service and maintain communication with clients.

Recipients

Personal data regarding the individuals who are representing legal entities will not be publicly displayed.

GBRIS stores data and documents in accordance with internal and external requirements. In the event of a dispute, the personal data will be retained until an agreement is reached or until the due date for the claim expires. The personal data is stored in secure servers in the European Union.

Company data

GBRIS company database consists of different local business registries and GBRIS may also publish on its website available public company information, including company name, registration number, legal form, legal address. In case a company wants GBRIS to remove its information from GBRIS website, authorized representative of the company should send a request to [email protected].

Changes

GBRIS may update this Privacy Notice at any time if required to reflect changes in data processing practices, in personal data protection laws or otherwise.
